House prices in The Canarias by 2.6% in March , according to the valuations and research fromTinsa, which estimates that prices throughout the whole country fell by an average of 5.5% during the third month of 2014.


In the Canary Islands was one of three homes sold to foreigners in 2013. Canaries were paid attention the region of Spain where home sales increased last year.

Housing sales increased by 1.4 percent in the Canary Islands in 2013, according to figures that were presented by the government of Spain today.

15,507 homes were sold, 220 more than in 2012. 5347 of the homes were bought by foreigners.
In the province of Las Palmas, it sold 8,091 homes, up 0.6 percent from 2012, and in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, it sold 7,416 homes, up 2.4 percent.
Sales of existing homes rose 11.2 percent, and new homes fell by 11.8 percent.
